Coast Guard Navik GD Salary 2026 — Pay Scale Details

Note: In addition to basic pay, candidates receive Dearness Allowance, HRA, ration allowance and other Coast Guard-specific allowances. Effective in-hand salary is significantly higher.

• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation

Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

Physical Standards (Navik GD)

• Height (Male): 157 cm | Height (Female): 152 cm
• Chest (Male): 77 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion
• Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) — Candidates wearing glasses are NOT eligible for Navik GD
• Dental: Minimum 14 dental points

Application Fee — Coast Guard CGEPT 01/2027

Selection Process — Coast Guard Navik GD 2026

Selection is done in 4 stages:

1. Stage-I — Computer Based Exam: 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 1 hour duration. No negative marking. Passing marks: 40 for UR/EWS/OBC and 35 for SC/ST. Exam held in Hindi and English.
2. Stage-II — Physical Fitness Test (PFT) + Medical:
   • Males: 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 bent-knee sit-ups
   • Females: 1.6 km run in 8 min, 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 bent-knee sit-ups
   • Also includes: Identity verification, Biometric verification, Document verification, Medical Examination and Assessment & Adaptability Test
3. Stage-III — INS Chilka Reporting: Shortlisted candidates report to INS Chilka for Aadhaar and document verification, pre-enrolment medical exam and submission of original certificates.
4. Stage-IV — Final Document Verification: Certificates verified with boards/universities. False documents lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

Merit List: Navik GD (Male) lists are zone-wise — North, West, East, South, Central zones. Other posts and Navik GD (Female) lists are All India, category-wise.

1. Visit the Portal: Go to cgept.parikshasaarthi.in or ssc.gov.in and find the Indian Coast Guard CGEPT notification link.
2. Register: Create a new account using your mobile number and email ID. OTP verification required.
