RRB Station Master 2026 — Selection Process

Selection for RRB Station Master 2026 is done in four stages:

1. Stage 1 — Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type written exam of 100 questions for 100 marks in 120 minutes. Negative marking: 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Based on CBT score, candidates are shortlisted for CBAT in the ratio of 1:8 (8 candidates per vacancy).
2. Stage 2 — Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Tests aptitude and suitability for Station Master role. CBAT carries 30% weightage in final merit. CBT carries 70% weightage.
3. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification of educational certificates, category certificates, and other documents.
4. Medical Examination: Candidates must pass Medical Standard A-2 — which includes strict vision standards. Colour vision deficiency disqualifies a candidate.

Final Merit = 70% CBT Score + 30% CBAT Score — No interview involved.
