Selection Process — RRB NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment 2026

Selection for RRB NTPC Graduate Level 2026 posts is done in 4 stages:

1. CBT-I (Computer Based Test Stage 1): 100 questions, 90 minutes. Subjects: General Awareness (40 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 marks). Negative marking: ⅓ mark per wrong answer. CBT-I is a screening test — shortlisted candidates proceed to CBT-II based on category-wise merit.
2. CBT-II (Computer Based Test Stage 2): 120 questions, 90 minutes. Subjects: General Awareness (50 marks), Mathematics (35 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 marks). Negative marking: ⅓ mark per wrong answer. Final merit is based on CBT-II score (normalised when held in multiple shifts).
3. Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted from CBT-II are called for DV. All original certificates — degree, age proof, category certificate, typing certificate (for Typist posts) and other documents — must be produced.
4. Medical Examination: Fitness check as per Railway medical standards for the specific post (Medical Standard A-2 for Goods Train Manager, B-2 for Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, C-2 for Clerk/Accounts posts).

Important: There is NO CBTST (Computer Based Typing Skill Test) or CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test) in CEN 06/2026. Final merit is based only on CBT-II score.
